EXTENSIVE BRAND DESIGN
Pubbles Pet Parlor in British Columbia had a loyal client base, a research-backed approach to grooming, and a level of care closer to a specialist clinic than a typical pet groomer. What they had was expertise, but what their brand communicated was anything but. Their existing identity was playful and casual where it should have been assured, making their standards invisible to the very clients who would value them most. The brand needed to grow up without losing its warmth.
We repositioned Pubbles as the expert choice, a place that takes pet care seriously without taking itself too seriously. The new visual identity pairs a clean, considered aesthetic with a colour palette of blue, teal, green and rich magenta accents. Custom illustrated characters became a creative way to stay professional enough to signal expertise while still being inviting enough to put both dogs and their owners at ease. To bring the physical experience of the parlor into the brand, we incorporated tile-inspired elements that subtly nod to the grooming environment itself, grounding the visual identity in something tactile and real.
With a website and social media presence both central to how Pubbles communicates, we delivered across both. The website gives their services and care philosophy the space to breathe, while a suite of editable social media templates covers everything from open appointment slots and grooming packages to before and after content, pet introductions, and tips for owners on home care between visits.
